Linux x64 portable AppImage · Linux x64 Debian package
macOS Intel and Apple Silicon build targets are configured. Downloads will appear after a Mac build, signing and notarization. ARM64 installers also require their platform build and tests.
Chrome, Brave and Edge
Download Chromium extension source ZIP. Extract it, open the browser’s extensions page, enable developer mode and select “Load unpacked.” Select the extracted folder. Store installation and automatic browser updates will be available after store review.
Firefox
Download Firefox add-on source ZIP. For development testing, extract it, open about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox, choose “Load Temporary Add-on” and select manifest.json. This temporary installation ends when Firefox restarts. Permanent installation requires Mozilla signing; a signed XPI is not available yet.
Use autofill
Create a vault in “Open extension vault,” or import an encrypted .lhvault backup from the desktop/web vault. Open an HTTPS login page, click the extension icon, unlock it and choose the matching login. Only exact origins match. Login Helper fills one visible login form in the top frame and does not submit it. Ambiguous, registration, cross-origin and new-password forms are refused.
Each application and browser profile stores a separate vault. Transfer encrypted backups explicitly. There is no live sync or desktop-to-extension connection yet.
Updates and backups
The desktop app verifies signed release metadata and installer hashes. Use “Check for app updates” to download an eligible verified installer. Installation is manual. Export a vault backup before installing. Windows/macOS publisher signatures and browser-store signing are separate from release metadata signatures.
